Max Scott Events is an event production and promotional company specializing in gelling new and exciting ventures in nightlife events with raising awareness, fundraising and inspiring involvement within the GLBT community and its allies.

Max Scott, ringleader, is enjoying the fourth year of success of his first party Woof!, his weekly Monday night soire at View Bar in the heart of Chelsea. Other parties currently under his leather belt include G.R.U.F.F. @ The Eagle (entering its third year), G.R.U.F.F. at Large (a touring party that has made stops in Philadelphia, Albany, D.C., Boston, New Jersey, Chicago and soon in Ohio), and The Satyr Ball Series @ The Eagle in conjunction with Mark Nelson Events. MSE also lends its promotional savvy to annual events produced by various other teams such as Dance 208 @ The GLBT Center including The Furball and The Fetish Ball as well as The Saint At Large including The Black Party, Salem and many more.

Max Scott Events is definitely known for catering to the “natural” man, welcoming members of the ever growing ‘bear” community and its admirers as well as featuring hot gogo men (not boys), a multitude of guest appearances from various stables of adult entertainment stars and more often than not delving into the world of fetish and BDSM

Max Scott’s ever growing presence in NYC Nightlife culminated in the recent 900th issue of HX magazine where it was stated, “From Woof! at View Bar to G.R.U.F.F. at The Eagle, the name Max Scott is synonymous with this city’s bear party scene.”

Previous parties include Muscle Bear Basement @ SBNY, Prism @ Movida, Grind @ Boysroom and Stonewall, Bear Essentials @ Nowhere Bar, Where The Boys Are @ The Tides on Fire Island, Acension @ Avalon, School Daze @ Stonewall and more.
With I Unity Fund, an extension of Max Scott’s charitable side, he has held fundraisers and toy drives for GMHC’s Child Life Program five years in a row during his Calling All Angels Annual Holiday Event. Immediate actions were also taken in response to Hurricane Katrina and the Tsunami Disaster culminating in one of the largest unitings of the GLBT community since The Stonewall Riots and a large check donated to Unicef was written to help with their efforts. A concert/fundraiser/rally was also held in 2006 in support of The Wedding Party, a non-profit organization in which fights for Marriage Equality. The show featured a slew of local GLBT performers and celebrities gathered on one stage long before Prop 8 was the hot topic.

Rarely an event goes by that isn’t linked somehow to raising monies and awareness for a local charity or non-profit organization within the GLBT entity of New York City.
